I am a mother of four beautiful children from college to first grade. We have two large cats as well as two adults in the house. It tends to get a bit KRAZY. We are involved in baseball, baseball and more baseball, Girl Scouts, Magic (yes, Magic), scrapbooking and who knows what will come next. Even with all this going on, we are still happy and healthy and that is a blessing no matter how you think about it!

Lauren's Turn
Well, its official. Lauren now has strep throat. She was very upset because Friday is her Thanksgiving Feast at school and she was going to miss it. The doctor gave her an option; a shot or take medicine for 10 days. Lauren really thought about it and opted for the shot. She was very brave. It hurt very badly and she did cry, but she will be able to go to school on Friday. The kids are off next week, so she can really recover then. I am very proud of her for making the tough decision. While we were there, she asked the doctor what the difference between a virus and bacteria. The doctor gave her a very good explanation and did not talk down to her. I only had to explain what replicate meant. The doctor said that Lauren always had great questions. Even sick, she impresses me.
